THE PROBLEM
Each month the JHB Coca-Cola Head Quarters runs a practice fire drill evacuation, to educate the staff about the emergency exits, where the emergency points are and to line up in their teams for registration to make sure no one is left in the building. The problem is, we all know how boring basic and lengthy power point presentations or training forums can be and we tend to skim through it or ignore it.

THE BRIEF
The client wanted us to create a creative and innovative way to educate the employees about the buildings emergency exits, which would encourage the employees to watch and to be educated and prepared for when emergencies happened.

SOLUTION
I conceptulised an idea to utilise the emergency sign icons. Using the icon of the man for inspiration. I then illustrated each floor in the building with interior details (office spaces, canteen, stairs, stair cases, elevators etc.) and people (staff, disabled people, fire marshals etc.) with clear indication of the exits (using arrows on the floor to indicate where to go) as well as the emergency meeting point. Adding humour to the video and getting a Coke staff member for the voiceover we wrote. My fellow colleague animated it.
This turned out to be such a success.
Client was so happy and even the global team requested our open files to create the same across the globe.
